PURPOSE

This webinar will provide information on effective note-taking techniques for the TOEFL iBT® and demonstrate how teachers can introduce these strategies to enhance students’ performance in both daily academic tasks and formal situations, such as standardized tests. We will review various note-taking methods and reflect on the best practices to determine what makes a successful note-taking strategy and how to integrate these techniques into classroom activities. There will also be time for Q&A. The webinar will be recorded and shared with all registrants.

Darya Nelidova

Darya Nelidova is an ELT Coordinator for Central Asia at ETS EMEA. She has experience in teaching and management thanks to her previous roles as a language instructor, lecturer and head of the international development department. Darya holds an Associate degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Parkland College, U.S., Bachelor of Science in International Business from NEOMA Business School, France, and Master of Economical Science from AlmaU, Kazakhstan. She is an alumni of U.S. Department of State's FLEX program and European Union's Erasmus+ program scholar.

Marta Zaninelli Ph.D.

Marta Zaninelli is an ELT Coordinator at ETS EMEA and she is based in Milan, Italy. She is responsible for outreach and support to the English Language Teachers community in Italy and throughout Europe. She holds a PhD from the Department of Linguistics and Literary Sciences of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan, and has worked as an English Language teacher and Business English Adjunct Professor. She is passionate about the English Language and Literature.
