ETS EMEA

Agenda

PURPOSE

Assessment plays a crucial role in bilingual and multilingual education, but how can it go beyond measurement to truly support learning?

This session explores the alignment between TOEFL® Young Student Series and the principles of Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), demonstrating how these tests provide meaningful insights into students’ linguistic and cognitive development. We will examine how TOEFL YSS supports the 4Cs of CLIL—Content, Communication, Cognition, and Culture—ensuring that students develop academic language proficiency while deepening subject knowledge.

Through real-world examples and TOEFL® test samples, we will explore how these assessments evaluate content comprehension, academic discourse, critical thinking, and intercultural awareness—all key elements of an effective CLIL framework. This webinar will demonstrate how TOEFL YSS assessments integrate language and content to provide a holistic measure of students' progress and how it complements CLIL programs, aligning with bilingual education content.

This webinar is specifically designed for teachers of young learners to enhance their teaching strategies and classroom engagement.

This webinar is delivered to you in collaboration with Goal Testing BV.
